Browning Smith was born and raised in Russellville, KY. After graduating from Russellville High School, he attended Transylvania University, where he earned a degree in Biology. He then received his acupuncture training and doctorate degree at Daoist Traditions in Asheville, NC. During his time in acupuncture school, Browning had the privilege of receiving direct instruction and teaching from Jeffery Yuen, Evan Rabinowitz, and Randine Lewis.

Dr. Browning focuses on a classical approach to Chinese Medicine and often utilizes the methods of the Fire Spirit School of Chinese Herbal Medicine. While he respects the historical roots of Chinese Medicine, he maintains a flexible practice suitable for our modern setting. He employs 5 channel systems in his acupuncture practice and is skilled in the use of custom herbal formulas.
